Shower Glass Partitions Fitted Across Dubai

The cost of a shower glass partition in Dubai typically starts around AED 800–1,200 for a basic framed single-panel installation using standard 8mm tempered glass. Frameless options, which use 10–12mm low-iron tempered glass with polished chrome or brushed nickel hardware, generally range from AED 1,500 to AED 4,000 or more depending on panel dimensions and finish. Larger custom configurations or premium coatings — such as hydrophobic nano-coatings recommended for Dubai's high-TDS desalinated water supply, which causes rapid mineral scale buildup — add to the final price. An accurate quote requires an on-site measurement, as wall alignment, tiling conditions, and ceiling height all affect material and labour costs.

Shower glass partition installations cover the full extent of the emirate, including apartment towers in Dubai Marina, JLT, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, and Al Barsha, as well as villa communities such as Arabian Ranches, The Springs, Jumeirah, Mirdif, and Palm Jumeirah. The team is familiar with bathroom configurations common to Dubai's large stock of townhouse clusters built between 2000 and 2015. If you are in an older building or a managed community, it is worth confirming with your building management whether a No Objection Certificate is required before installation begins, as Dubai Municipality regulations apply to structural modifications.

Yes. A shower cubicle — a full enclosure with two or more glass panels, a door, and a tray or threshold — involves significantly more material and installation labour than a single frameless partition panel. Cubicle installations in Dubai typically start around AED 3,500 and can reach AED 7,000 or more for larger frameless configurations with pivot or sliding doors. A single panel-only partition is a simpler fixed screen and is the lower-cost option, starting from AED 800. Given Dubai's humidity levels, which regularly spike above 90 percent, stainless-grade hinges and fixings are strongly recommended for both cubicles and partitions to prevent corrosion from repeated condensation cycles.

Dubai's municipal water is desalinated seawater supplied by DEWA with total dissolved solids typically in the range of 500–700 mg/L. This high mineral content leaves white calcium and silica scale deposits on untreated shower glass surfaces quickly — often within weeks of regular use. At the time of installation, applying a professional hydrophobic nano-coating to the glass surface significantly slows mineral adhesion and makes routine cleaning far easier. Without this coating, repeated wetting and drying cycles etch the glass permanently over time. Clients should also use a squeegee after each shower and a mild descaling solution weekly to maintain glass clarity.

A standard single-panel frameless installation usually takes 2–4 hours on-site, including drilling, anchoring hardware, fitting the glass panel, and applying silicone sealant. A full shower cubicle with a door and multiple panels typically takes 4–8 hours depending on the complexity of the layout and whether existing tiling requires special fixings. The lead time before installation — covering measurement, glass cutting, and hardware procurement — is usually 3–7 working days. If the project involves a structural modification that requires a Dubai Municipality permit or a No Objection Certificate from a building management company, that approval process should be factored in separately before scheduling fabrication.
