What Does a Round Gazebo Construction Involve?
A round gazebo is a circular open-sided shelter built around a structural system of radial framing — individual rafters that radiate from a central hub ring outward to a continuous perimeter beam.
Unlike a square bay, every rafter in a circular structure carries a slightly different angular load, so each connection must be engineered, not assembled from generic hardware. We use a circular truss configuration for spans above 4 metres, which locks the roof geometry against wind uplift — relevant during Dubai's Shamal events between May and July when gusts push abrasive silica dust across all exposed surfaces. The dome roof profile sheds that dust and rainwater efficiently and handles the thermal expansion cycles that come with ambient temperatures regularly exceeding 45 °C between June and September. Fabrication of a standard 4 m diameter round gazebo takes approximately 10–14 working days once permits are in hand.
